Today I made a new blog post at The Living Basket, “A Treasure in the Unexpected,” about my grandmother and some of the spoken and unspoken things she has shared with me.
I also posted a link at Find Your Light to an article at Backstage Online by Sarah Kuhn – “Best Acting Advice from Backstage”. The actors who share their advice have some great tips and words of wisdom. I made sure to post a link to Backstage in the “Links” section of Find Your Light. I’m not sure why I didn’t do that sooner.
I decided to discontinue Secret Airs, so I removed all the content from it. I didn’t go ahead and delete it because I may want to use the name in the future. I had not posted there in a week, but had received several hits in the last several days. I suspect this was because of entries in which I mentioned the One Life to Live characters, Oliver Fish and Kyle Lewis. The actors who play them were let go from the show and there has been a “Kish” drama going on with fans all week.
I started a new Twitter account for Jaemlyn to promote fan fiction — twitter.com/jaemlyn, and linked both Jaemlyn’s new fan video for Turning Leaves and Chapter One – “Employees and Exes” from Turning Leaves v2.
“In this story, a straight woman who is running for mayor (Dorian) explores the nature of her relationships — with the ex-husband who is still present in her life (David), a recent lover she hasn’t quite gotten over (Ray), and the woman she is going to marry to push for equal rights and garner the political support of the gay and lesbian community (Amelia).”
